80 Over 80: Latino Style (Virtual)

Mon October 3, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

  • « Job Match with First Impressions (Virtual)
  • Using Technologies In Different Ways To Make Life Easier For Everyone (Virtual) »

Join us to learn about the Latino 80/80 personalities, meet the Latino 80/80 cohort and then some! Get to know our older residents and celebrate those who have passed the remarkable milestone of reaching 80 when even the ordinary is extraordinary after 80. These individuals have made San Francisco the city we know and love, a city rich in age diversity that adds to everyone’s experience. Bring your friends and relatives and the stories of your elders, even those of loved ones who departed. What an extraordinary way to celebrate our elders and embrace their memories, during the season of Dia de Los Muertos!

We will be joined by Dr. Anna Chodos, MD MPH, who lives in SF and is a geriatrician and medical director of outpatient geriatrics services at the San Francisco Health Network and an Associate Professor at UCSF in Geriatrics and General Internal Medicine. She cherishes the opportunity to work with older adults and hear about their lives. It gives her the energy, inspiration, and hope she needs to work for a better present and imagine a better future.

Ms. Olivia Franco, CLC Sunnyside Connector, will demonstrate some of her recipes for Dia de Los Muertos! Always a treat to follow Doña Olivia!
