Art Viewing Adventures: A New Biography Celebrates Ruth Asawa (Virtual)
Mon August 10, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join Rodney Paul, an experienced museum guide, for a fascinating talk with Marilyn Chase about Rush Asawa’s life and work. Asawa’s public sculptures adorn multiple San Francisco locations, and her amazing wire sculptures are highlights at museums in the Bay Area and far beyond. Marilyn Chase is the author of an excellent new biography called Everything She Touched: The Life of Ruth Asawa.
Rodney has been leading Zoom-based art tours long before shelter-in-place, as a way to share art from a distance. In his tours, he provides information to help viewers mine the artworks for meaning based on their own experiences and perceptions.
