Art Viewing Adventures: Sarah Newton’s Drawings of San Francisco Bay Locations (Virtual – English)

Rodney first encountered Sarah Newton’s intricate drawings of locations along San Francisco Bay during the run of his virtual program, Bay Trail Confidential. Sarah and Rodney share a fascination with places along the Bay and the many things we can learn from them.
The amazing detail of Sarah’s images fit into the realm of photo realism. But she makes choices in what she includes and excludes that add to their allure. We’ll display and discuss some of these works, and our conversation may inspire you to visit Sarah’s SF studio during the upcoming Open Studios April 13 and 14.
