Black History Month with Dr. Harriette Stevens at Potrero Hill Connector Program (In-Person)

In celebration of Black History Month, Dr. Harriette S. Stevens will present a special talk aligned with the 2026 national theme, “A Century of Black History Commemoration.” A distinguished mathematics education designer, Dr. Stevens holds degrees from the University of Kansas and the University of San Francisco and previously directed a K–12 professional development program at UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science. Her work has impacted thousands of students (especially in the Bay Area) and drawing on her lived experience, she designs curricula that inspire students and support long-term success. She currently consults with the Mathematics Education Group and co-directs the Bridging project at SRI International.
