Boomer Music Talk with Richie Unterberger: Asians Who Rock (Virtual)

Music historian and author Richie Unterberger presents a class on rock performers based in Asia, as well as rock by Asian Americans and others of Asian descent. This program features artists based in or descended from more than half a dozen countries, including Japan, India, Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Phillipines. Presented in honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the styles encompassed will include rockabilly, surf music, garage rock, indie rock, girl groups, psychedelia, punk, synth-pop, and more.
