Join rock music historian and author Richie Unterberger presents a program on “Australian Rock: The Early Years.” Although only a few Australian rock acts gained international success before the 1980s, the country had a vibrant rock scene since the mid-1960s. This program will feature some of their best artists, including the Easybeats, the Atlantics, Lynne Randell, Wendy Saddington, Masters Apprentices, and numerous others who usually remain unknown in the US.
