Mon November 28, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us as author and rock music historian Richie Unterberger presents a program on Burt Bacharach, one of the most popular songwriters of the twentieth century. Often working with lyricist Hal David, Bacharach wrote pop, rock, and soul hits for Dionne Warwick, Dusty Springfield, Jackie DeShannon, Tom Jones, Herb Alpert, and numerous other stars. The program features performances from Bacharach’s 1960s prime of hits like Warwick’s “Don’t Make Me Over,” Springfield’s “The Look of Love,” Love’s “My Little Red Book,” and Jones’s “What’s New Pussycat.”
