Boomer Talk with Richie Unterberger: The Move

Join author and music historian Richie Unterberger as he presents a program on the Move, one of the finest British rock bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s never to make it big in the United States. Featuring future Electric Light Orchestra founders Roy Wood and (in their later years) Jeff Lynne, the Move wittily combined the catchiness of greats like the Beatles with the muscle of groups like the Who. Some of the big British Move hits featured will include “I Can Hear the Grass Grow,” “Blackberry Way,” and “Tonight.”
