Boomer Music Talk with Richie Unterberger: Buffy Sainte-Marie
Mon November 8, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Join rock historian Richie Unterberger in honoring Native American Heritage Month as he spotlights singer-songwriter, Buffy Sainte-Marie. Starting her career in the folk revival of the early 1960s, she was one of the most unusual and forceful performers with a folk base, originating both social protest anthems like “Universal Soldier” and love songs “Until It’s Time for You to Go.” Her songs have been covered by stars like Donovan, Elvis Presley, and Quicksilver Messenger Service, though this program will highlight her own performances
