Swap Instead of Shop at Cayuga Connector Program (In-Person)

Swap Instead of Shop! Recycling and reusing clothing helps support environmental resilience by reducing what ends up in landfills. It is also a great way to connect with neighbors while having fun. Refresh your closet while reducing landfill waste and swapping with your community. This fun, sustainable clothing and goods swap encourages reuse, refurbishing, recycling, and repurposing.
- How it works: Bring 5-10 new or gently used items to swap with others at the event.
- We accept: Clothing, hats, bags, scarves, accessories, art, and household items.
- Guidelines: All items must be in gently used condition. Please limit 5-10 items per person.
Any remaining items from the swap will be donated to Community Thrift or SafeHouse for Women.
This is a neighborhood-based program and space is prioritized for Cayuga residents. If space remains, others are welcome to join. Questions? Contact us ccnetworks@sfcommunityliving.org, (415) 821-1003 ext. 106 or your local Community Connector.
