Cesar Chavez Celebration with Nicky and Olivia

Cesar E. Chavez and the farmworker movement did more than lead an international grape boycott. The impact of Cesar E. Chavez is felt amongst consumers, health advocates, workers, students, immigrants, and the food industry, all accomplished through non-violent ways.

This presentation will provide a short history of the movement, its achievements, today’s Urban Farmworkers, overcoming food insecurity, and a food demonstration by La Dona Olivia Franco featuring the Taco Truck menu.
