A Collage a Day Keeps the Blues Away (Virtual)
November 7 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
You don’t need any art background or special expertise to make a collage. Each week, Lola will show you easy techniques to help you succeed. Every class begins with a short video or slides featuring artists and techniques from around the world and step-by-step demonstrations. Then, we look at and talk about each other’s work using the ideas we are learning. It’s a nice way to get together with other older adults who have an interest in artistic expression. A different prompt will be offered in each class, giving you two weeks to work on your next creation. Lola has many years of experience making and teaching art.
CLC and Lola Fraknoi welcomes you to the online Collage group called Coast to Coast Collage Collective.
You will need a few supplies. Scrap SF is a great resource to find papers, postcards, old photos, etc. Start collecting magazines like National Geographic. Old cards, copies of old photos, maps, colorful papers, hand painted papers. Bring 5 postcards of your choice to class.
Only purchase what you don’t have.
