Crocker Amazon: Boomer Talks: David Bowie, Evolution of a Rock Artist

Come and join the Crocker Amazon Community for an evening talk on “David Bowie, Evolution of a Rock Artist”. Author and Rock Historian, Richie Unterberger will show and discuss vintage clips of Dvid Bowie. These will span the prime of his career, from the late 1960s to the early 1980s where Bowie evolved through a series of surprising styles, from the folk-rock/psychedelia of “Space Oddity” and his rise to glam superstardom in the Ziggy Stardust era to his exploration of blue-eyed soul and electronic rock. On Thursday, November 7th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. It’s FREE and light refreshments will be provided. This will be held at the Crocker Amazon Playground Clubhouse on 799 Moscow at Italy.
