This Empowerment Training Is for You! (In-Person)

Why? The days ahead will require leadership, partnerships, and commitment to win improvements for seniors and people with disabilities, starting at the local level. The Dignity Fund Coalition and Community Living Campaign are partnering to offer a Senior and Disability Empowerment Program with Training Facilitator, Jodi Reid. She will help us learn the skills and share our experiences to be prepared for challenges ahead.

What? The sessions are informative, interactive, and fun! You’ll share your insights and experiences with others in your community. During the course of the training, you will learn how to:

• Assess your personal leadership style.
• Create effective meetings.
• Develop an organizing campaign.
• Take your issues to policymakers and the media.
• Improve your public speaking skills.
• Celebrate with others what you have accomplished.

Who? CLC network participants, Dignity Fund organization participants, and others.

Where? Forest Hill Christian Church, 250 Laguna Honda Blvd. 4 min walk to Forest Hill MUNI Station and parking lot available.
