CLC's OMI Food Network team packs groceries for delivery to homebound neighbors

This week is all about interdependence, and thanking those who are helping us stay safe and well: grocery store clerks, delivery people, janitors, first responders, homecare workers, nurses, doctors, and many more. Help celebrate the many things that each of us can do to build joyous, caring, and resilient communities at a time when this is more essential than ever.

  • Thank Essential Workers and Volunteers: Who are you thanking this week? How have they made a difference in keeping you safe? Share a description, photo, and/or video with neighbors@sfcommunityliving.org or on facebook.com/CommunityLiving. We’ll share a selection on our website!
  • Get Creative: Make a sign, a card, or some other creation for an essential worker or volunteer in your life. Send to neighbors@sfcommunityliving.org by August 3. We’ll be awarding a prize for the most creative signs, cards, or gifts!

Call 415-821-1003, x113 or visit our Good Neighbor Summer page to get Seeds of Hope wildflower seed packets, follow updates, and join the fun!
