CANCELED-Healthy Aging and Nutrition (Virtual)

Tue February 8, 2022 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm

  • « Art with Elders: Painting and Drawing (Virtual)
  • Dim Sum Rundown with Tyler Deng »

Join Community Connector Darlene Ramlose for a discussion on aging and brain health. We will dive deep into what we need to know about how our brain functions and what we need to do to maintain optimum brain health. This is NOT your average brain class!

Learn how your body uses the food and drink you consume to build new tissues and power every organ in your body from your brain to your toes, and everything in between. Good nutrition helps keep your body strong, your mind sharp, and your energy level up as you age. Get tips for eating well and staying healthy as you age.

Darlene has spent the past 30 years educating adults, seniors, and children in Nutrition and Health in both public (hospital), and private settings, including nutrition counseling, and representing products in the nutrition/healthcare industry. She has a degree in nutrition, health science & administration, as well as numerous other certifications in nutrition and health, and emergency medicine and nutrition.
