Inner Sunset: Stroke Awareness

FreeCome and join Community Living Campaign’s Community Connectors in partnership with UCSF for 3-part Workshop on STroke Awareness where you learn how to reduce risk, recognize symptoms and respond quickly with confidence. Part I will be on Wednesday, October 23rd at 6:00 pm and Part II on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:30 pm, a National stroke Association presentation in two parts, led by Arete Nicholas. Part III will be on Wednesday, November 6th at 6:00 pm, the Science of Stroke: What Happens in the Brain? led by Dr. Serggio Lanata of UCSF Memory and Aging Center. About our leads: Arete Nicholas has a 15 years combined experience in Health Care Management. She is a Registered Nurse with a passion for health and healing. Dr. Serggio Lanata, MD, MS, is a Clinical Instructor and Behavioral Neurology Fellow at UCSF Memory and Aging Center. All workshops will be at St. Anne’s of the Inner Sunset Community Hall. Entrance is on Funston Street. Diability ramp to right of entry doors before the playground. Free parking.
