Boomer Music Talk with Richie Unterberger: Honoring African American History Month, James Brown

In honor of African American history month, author and music historian Richie Unterberger presents a program celebrating the music of James Brown, one of the all-time great soul singers and charismatic live performers. The event will focus on his prime from the mid-1960s to the early 1970s, including performances of classics like “Out of Sight,” “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag,” “I Feel Good,” “Cold Sweat,” and “Say It Loud, I’m Black and I’m Proud.”
