Boomer Music Talk with Richie Unterberger: Honoring African American History Month, Nina Simone
February 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

In honor of African American history month, author and music historian Richie Unterberger presents a program celebrating the music of Nina Simone, the magnetically eclectic singer and pianist. The event will focus on her prime in the 1960s and early 1970s, when she combined pop, jazz, rock, soul, gospel, classical, and world music in performances of songs like “Four Women,” “To Be Young, Gifted and Black,” and “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.”
