NTC Summer Workshop: Editing with Photo Apps (In-Person)

Join Maia in cooperation with the San Francisco Rec & Park’s Glen Park Recreation Center and learn how to create, edit, and organize photos in this four-week workshop. Do you have tons of digital photos on your device that you are still trying to figure out what to do with? Is there a family reunion to attend and you want to invite your kin to see and share your photos and theirs? Participants will work on their own projects during class time using a FREE photos application to alter and enhance photos. Beginners welcome – be prepared to have some fun! Discover how to share photos in formats that your friends and family can open and enjoy.
Requirements:
- Bring your own device – tablet or laptop – no smart phones. CLC does not have devices to loan out at this time
- Have an email address (it can be created specifically for this workshop to protect participants’ privacy)
- Be able to use a browser to get on the internet and search for & find information
- Space is limited to 10 people. Registration opens on May 14th.

Required Materials on First Day of Class:
- At least 10 photos, already on your device
- Photos application already set up on your device. Here are some options:
- Mac Photos comes standard on every Apple device, no need to download anything
- On a Mac or PC, if you have a Gmail account, you can use Google Photos

Each of the four class will focus on different topics, building on the previous week’s learnings.
