Open Water Swimming with Suzie Dods (Virtual)
Mon March 1, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Curious about getting out of the pool and into the San Francisco Bay for a swim? Yes, it’s cold in the bay, but it’s not ‘too cold’ for swimming. Join CLC and English Channel swimmer Suzie Dods for a fun, informative conversation about enjoying and swimming in the San Francisco Bay and other water (swimming holes) nearby. Learn about the hidden and not-so-hidden places to safely enjoy our special waters. The SF Bay and area rivers/lakes/reservoirs are our aquatic playgrounds, let’s enjoy them!
Suzie Dods has been swimming in open water since 1986 and teaches swimming to anyone age 4 to 84. She loves to show people they can do more than they think they can do. If you enjoy playing in or around the water or just want to meet someone who has swum continuously for over eleven hours, join us to enjoy a conversation with Suzie Dods.
