Art Viewing Adventures: Neri Oxman Panel Discussion
Mon May 9, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The creations of Oxman Architects challenge us to think about the impact of short-sighted design choices that have resulted in buildings that recklessly waste resources and products that can’t be recycled and won’t biodegrade. The exhibition of their work currently on view at SFMOMA through May 15 includes 40 works featuring models and prototypes that explore what the organization calls “interrelationships between the built, the grown, and the augmented.” These works ask how we can treat Nature as a collaborator and not as a servant.
Nick Despota returns with other museum guides for a panel discussion of these works. We encourage you to visit the exhibition and be prepared to share your thoughts on what you’ve seen.
