Spanish-Language Cultural Event: Día de Reyes (Three Kings Day)

Únase a Olivia Franco y su nieta Gaya mientras hablan sobre cómo diferentes países celebran el 6 de enero, el Día de los Reyes Magos, entre ellos: México, Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica e India. Gaya compartirá fotos de sus viajes recientes. Por supuesto, la comida juega un papel importante en toda festividad religiosa. Olivia estará en la cocina, con una demostración en vivo de ella preparando algunos platos: La Rosca de Reyes, Posole y Pastel de Tamal.

Join Olivia Franco and her granddaughter Gaya as they talk about how different countries celebrate January 6th, Three Kings Day, including: Mexico, Guatemala, Columbia, Costa Rica, and India. Gaya will share photos of her recent travels. Of course food plays an important part of every religious holiday. Olivia will be in the kitchen, with a live demo of her preparing a few dishes: La Rosca de Reyes, Posole, and Tamale Pie.
