The Hard Stuff: Feeling the Pressure of Political Insanity? (Virtual)
The Hard Stuff is a space for people who need to be heard. As we age, life brings real challenges including chronic illness, the loss of a partner or child, depression, and other experiences that can feel isolating or overwhelming. Here, we come together to share, listen, and talk openly about these realities, remembering that we are not alone.
Today’s political environment has left many feeling angry, frustrated, and at times, helpless (we thought the 60s were radical). How do you move through each day carrying that weight?
In this session, we invite you to share your frustrations and talk about how you’re coping. What helps you stay grounded? What actions, big or small, are you taking to stay engaged or protect your well-being?
We join not to solve each other’s problems, but to connect, learn, and find comfort in being truly understood. Come as you are: listen, share, and support one another.
The Hard Stuff is facilitated by longtime San Francisco psychotherapist Sheila Koren. We welcome your ideas and suggestions. How are you coping? Reach us at ccnetworks@sfcommunityliving.org
