Workshops with Juliet: Understanding Our Social Relationships (Virtual)
Tue June 6, 2023 @ 11:15 am - 12:15 pm
Relationships are essential for all of us, but our own feelings and experiences, and our individual and unique life situations play an essential role in the way that we experience and understand them. We may have relationships with family members, friends, co-workers, neighbors, acquaintances, and others in our lives – perhaps even our pets. This workshop would present a way to visualize our social relationships through the development of a “map” of our social lives. We will explore the differences between our relationships and our feelings about them, and make a drawing to illustrate these using lines and colors. We will have the opportunity to share the way in which we understand some of the differences between them. We may want to double-check the way we understood relationships over time, and come back together to explore and share our reflections and insights.
