On March 31st, Cesar Chavez’s birthday, we will honor the women who work in domestic fields (housekeeping, nannying, etc.) behind closed doors and women working in the fruit and vegetable fields we rely on, out of sight. We will bring you their stories to lend an understanding and awakening to their plight. We will open that door, unearth their daily experiences, and expose some of their dire working conditions. Find out what is being done legislatively and by individuals and organizations meant to improve these essential workers’ lives. Meet and hear these dynamic speakers!
