Sidewalk Search Waddle: Inner Richmond (In-Person)

May 27, 2025 by Lauren Bactad

Join CLC’s Sidewalk Search Party on our Fourth Tuesday Field Trips! Each month, we’ll head to a new neighborhood in search of sidewalk damage caused by street trees. When we find them, we’ll hang ducks on trees to let people know that the City is responsible for fixing these sidewalks!

Meeting Location: 949 Fillmore Street, SF, CA 94117

Do you want us to come out to your neighborhood to hang ducks?  Do you have questions about one of our trips? Contact Jennifer Walsh at jennifer@sfcommunityliving.org or 415-821-1003, ext. 111.

Also, please join us at our monthly virtual meetings on the second Tuesday of every month. Details here.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Join us for a special Sidewalk Search Party Waddle in the Inner Richmond neighborhood, weather permitting. If it’s not pouring rain by 1:30 PM, you can assume that the Waddle is still on! Your involvement is key to making this event a success, and we hope to see all of you dressed in your festive green!

During our Waddle, we’ll be attaching paper rubber ducks (decked out in their finest leprechaun hats!) to trees in the affected areas, and we’ll report any issues directly to 311 right on the spot. We need as many hands on deck as possible to help address these concerns and raise awareness. Please feel free to share the attached flyer with your networks, especially with those who live or work in the Inner Richmond neighborhood.

Just a reminder that there will not be a virtual alternative available. This is a journey we’re taking together as a community. We’ll meet at Geary Blvd & Arguello Blvd, before we set off to tackle the hazardous sidewalks.
