Changing Strangers into Neighbors and Neighbors into Friends
Community Connectors bring neighbors together to build friendships and strengthen their communities. This award-winning, program grows from the people who participate, with activities shaped by local interests, talents, and needs. Neighbors learn from one another, support each other, and create welcoming spaces where everyone belongs. Whether you join in person or online, you’ll find a friendly way to connect, build relationships, and be part of a shared community. Contact ccnetworks@sfcommunityliving.org to learn more.

Transportation Assistance
Getting around San Francisco can be hard, especially for older adults and people with disabilities. Our Transportation Access Program helps residents find, use, and pay for safe and affordable transportation so they can get where they need to go.
We help people find transportation that works for them, including free and low-cost options and help with transit applications. CLC staff offer ongoing support and referrals, and provide ride subsidies when funding allows.
We’ve provided 995 transportation subsidies - a value of $76,400 in free taxi rides.
