Boomer Music Talk with Richie Unterberger: Rob Reiner: High Comedy to High Drama (Virtual)

Join Richie Unterberger for the Zoom program “Rob Reiner: High Comedy to High Drama.” Rising to TV stardom as All in the Family’s son-in-law, Rob Reiner was one of the most versatile and accomplished American film directors of the last four decades. Richie will show and discuss clips from throughout his career, including memorable scenes encompassing and blending riotous comedy and serious drama from Spinal Tap, When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, and A Few Good Men. He’ll also present some rare material from outtakes, trailers, and TV programs, some featuring his father, esteemed comedian Carl Reiner.

*Note (October only): Due to the holiday, the next class is scheduled for Monday, October 5 instead of the second week of the month.
